A New Year and a New Time

I am glad to say that I am looking forward to the New Year and what it has to offer. As many of you know this year was a very trying year. I lost a home, a job, car, child, a man I loved, money and mostly my Mother and Step Dad. Indeed I have seen great darkness. However in the midst of it all I was blessed to see light. The blinding light of the love of God.

So as we prepare ourselves to embark on our New Year rituals, let us not forget who brought us to this point. That no matter what the ailment, struggle, pain, hurt, anguish, confusion, befuddlement, no matter what was placed on our laps, there was a creator who went before us to take care of it and stood besides us as we walked through it.

Be thankful for the time that we have had and the time we may still yet to receive. Do not be frivolous with life, embrace each moment as delicately you would a newborn, for it is just that precious. Be fearless in love, the reward of true love is not for the timid it is only made for those courageous enough to dare. Forgive freely, it is not meant for us to decide the level of wrong someone has done to us or another, it is only our position to extend what has been given to us so very freely.

So to you all I say embrace the New Year, align yourself with the Divine, bask in the knowledge that you are fearfully and wonderfully made and on one can come against you, when God is for you!

My Resolution:

To relinquish the delusions of grandeur and embrace the beauty of reality no matter how bleak it may seem, while embodying all God says I am!

Thank you all and I look forward to a very prosperous New Year in 2010. Here is a link to my book about fasting, during this time of renewal I do hope it is found to be useful. http://www.lulu.com/content/paperback-book/the-daniel-fast-guide-book-with-recipes/8151166

Until next time

Dare I Say …God

Lev 26: (NIV)

” ‘I will look on you with favor and make you fruitful and increase your numbers, and I will keep my covenant with you. 10 You will still be eating last year’s harvest when you will have to move it out to make room for the new
